Yalta sambo wrestlers took gold at the republican tournament

At the championship of the Republic of Crimea in sambo in Feodosia, Yalta athletes, students of Vladimir Rybalchenko and Dmitry Danylyshyn, won full-weight gold.
On the basis of the sports and training center “Crimea-Sport” the VII open Republican sambo tournament among boys and girls born in 2008-2010 was held. The best athletes of the Republic of Crimea took part in the competition. Yalta was adequately presented by the pupils of the Yalta Judo Federation. Although sambo is not the main type of martial arts for pupils of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan DO “Sports School No. 6” and the Children’s Youth Sports Club “Titan”, as a result of a stubborn struggle, Elizaveta Kolchina (43 kg.) And Alevtina Kravchenko (47 kg.) Won full-weight gold.
Athletes were prepared and led to victory by Yalta coaches: Vladimir Rybalchenko, Dmitry Danylyshyn and Ekaterina Ruzhavnitsa.
The tournament is held annually on the eve of the anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan and is dedicated to the memory of the feat of the 6th paratrooper company of the 104th guards paratrooper regiment of the 76th airborne division.
