Xiaomi company presented Redmi Note 13 smartphone family for the global market. The line includes the basic Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 5G, as well as the Pro versions of Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G.
Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 5G received Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 and MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chips, respectively, which are combined with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory, the latter of which can be increased up to 1 TB via memory cards. Both smartphones have the same 6.6-inch OLED screens with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The devices have a 16-megapixel front camera, as well as a 108-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The 5000 mAh battery supports 33 W charging. The presence of a 3.5 mm jack is declared, as well as dust and moisture protection according to the IP54 standard.
Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G also mainly differ in chips – the new items received MediaTek Helio G99, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processors combined with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal memory. The smartphones received the same 6.6-inch AMOLED screens, as well as a 5000 mAh battery (Note 13 Pro) and 5100 mAh battery (Note 13 Pro 5G) with support for 67 W charging and a 5000 mAh battery with support 120W charging for Note 13 Pro+ 5G. All devices have a 16-megapixel front camera, a 200-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G have IP54 dust and moisture protection, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G is protected according to the IP68 standard.
Smartphones will enter the market with the Android operating system with the proprietary MIUI shell, but later a number of models will receive new Xiaomi HyperOS operating system. The cost of new devices will start from $180 for the base model Redmi Note 13, and the flagship Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will cost at least $400.
