American corporation Microsoft tests A new feature that will allow Xbox console users to record voice chats and report toxic behavior if necessary. The company believes that this will help improve the comfort of gamers in multiplayer games where the competitive element is high.

The feature will be available on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles and will allow you to record minute-long snippets of conversations if they violate the rules of conduct enshrined in Microsoft documents. Users will be able to record the conversation, but complain later without being distracted from the gameplay. The recording will be stored on the device during the in-game day, after which it will be deleted. Microsoft said the feature will work in thousands of voice-enabled multiplayer games. Recordings will be considered if it is necessary to block the accounts of gamers with inappropriate behavior.
