Wushu wrestlers from Karelia won 15 medals in Moscow

From October 18 to October 23, the All-Russian wushu competition “Link of Generations” took place. The team of Karelian wushu wrestlers of different ages arrived in Moscow, where the athletes won 15 medals at once. The group “Sport is the norm of life in Karelia” reported that the participants of the competition competed in various areas of kung fu, wushu and wing chun.
Young athlete Evgenia Selina took third place in the category among girls 9-11 years old. In the category of 12-14 years old, Anar Veliyev got two bronze medals, and Margarita Mekhedova won silver.
The adult participants also excelled. Irina Pahomkova became the winner three times, and also once was a silver medalist. Grigory Malkov won as many as 5 medals: two golds, a silver and two bronzes. Olga Kudelko, together with Irina Pakhomkova, got another gold medal, and Olga Klochkova put bronze in the piggy bank of Karelia.
