But I didn’t want to go to the hospital
Famous writer Victoria Tokareva fell ill with coronavirus. The disease is quite serious, but the author of popular novels, despite her advanced age, refused to go to the hospital.
As MK learned, a few days ago Tokareva was forced to call doctors to her country house in the writer’s holiday village in New Moscow. The woman began to cough, her temperature rose to 38’5, and she developed severe weakness. The test for Covid gave a positive result, and doctors also suspected viral pneumonia. Doctors suggested Tokareva go to the hospital, but the 86-year-old author of the scripts for the legendary films “Gentlemen of Fortune” and “Mimino” did not want to leave home. She was given a detailed treatment plan, warning that the disease should under no circumstances be left to chance.
