Stylist Polly Ryzhova shared her professional views on the images of stars with MK readers.

The choice of actress Uma Thurman fell on a laconic ball gown in a powdery shade. The soloist role in the image was played by a mantle with voluminous sleeves and a train – in royal red. The statement piece was chosen as the finishing touch, with a ruby-shine choker supporting the dramatic nature of the look well. It would seem expensive-rich! But according to the stylist, the actress overlooked the image.

“What spoils the impression? Carelessly steamed fabrics. If we want to look perfect, remember the golden rule: there are no trifles in style! A rumpled dress is bad manners for the red carpet. Although making friends with a steamer is also useful for everyday outings, ”says the stylist.

The legendary actress Catherine Deneuve appeared before the camera lenses in a discreet dark blue dress with a scattering of stones in the neckline and cutouts on the shoulders. This combination, which is elegant on the whole, cannot be called ultra-modern, and, according to Ryzhova, the straight silhouette of the dress “eats” the waist.

“Note to women of short stature (by the way, Catherine Deneuve is 168 cm tall), when choosing a dress for a special occasion, it is recommended to pay attention to models that emphasize the curves of the figure, bringing it closer to the hourglass type. For this, for example, dresses with a smell, fitted cut, draperies will help,” the stylist advises.

As usual, not without feathers. Feathers are the trend of 2023. It seems that Russian TV presenter Victoria Bonya has taken the fashion trend to the maximum. “Today I am the queen of the jungle,” she herself described her outfit.

“Let’s not argue: the dress is spectacular and even outrageous. For brave girls – ideal. The only question is how it corresponds to the dress code of the film festival. What do you think? Or is it more suitable for a carnival? – Asks the stylist.

The star of the TV series “The Magnificent Century” Meryem Uzerli appeared on the red carpet in a black dress of a flying silhouette, which seems modest only at first glance. The hem was accentuated with a fur trim, as if taken from the treasures of the Sultanate. A flirty corset drew attention to the décolletage, enhancing the modern sound of the classics. According to the expert, fashionistas can take note of such an image.

“Black is a classic for all time, but it is rarely preferred when choosing a festive dress of the Princess style. A non-trivial idea can be taken into account by those who are preparing for summer celebrations and like to be in the spotlight. And consider an important point in the image – the right makeup: flawless and moderately bright, ”advises Ryzhova.

And, of course, the “black panther” Naomi Campbell appeared at the festival, whose attire was appreciated by fashion experts.

“This is the case when everything ingenious is simple. How to shine on the red carpet in the literal sense of the word? Choose a shimmery outfit. Naomi Campbell showed the standard of elegance in Cannes. A silhouette dress with a deep neckline, embroidered with silver sequins, the supermodel added massive jewelry and trendy sunglasses in a white wide frame.
