The IOC did not allow wrestler Abdulrashid Sadulaev to participate in the licensed Olympic tournament

Two-time Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling Abdulrashid Sadulayev will not go to the licensed tournament of the 2024 Games in Paris by decision of the International Olympic Committee. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Wrestling Federation.

The IOC has published new lists of athletes not admitted to the international tournament. They included two-time Olympic winner, team captain Abdulrashid Sadulayev.

The licensed tournament will be held from April 5 to 7 in Baku. According to FSBR President Mikhail Mamiashvili, Abdulrashid can fly to Baku, but he will still not be admitted by decision of the IOC.

It should be noted that the 2021 European champion Alikhan Zhabrailov will perform in Baku. To receive a license, wrestlers must reach the finals.
