WP: Russia took control of Ukrainian mineral deposits worth $12.4 trillion

American edition The Washington Post writes that Russia took control of Ukrainian mineral deposits totaling $12.4 trillion during a special operation.

We are talking about 63 sites for the development of coal, 11% of Ukraine’s oil reserves and a fifth of natural gas.

Also under the control of the Russian Federation were 42% of metal deposits and a third of rare earth elements, including the development of lithium, which is necessary for the production of batteries.

Deposits of uranium, gold and limestone left under the control of Russia. Kyiv could lose access to two-thirds of its reserves.
