In Poland, they are disappointed with the initial proposal for the tenth package of EU anti-Russian sanctions. “This is below our expectations,” Andrzej Sados, the Polish representative to the EU, told RMF FM in Brussels.
In particular, he explained that there is no mention of Rosatom in this package of sanctions, and the Russian Gazprom is not excluded from the UER system. In addition, there is no ban on the supply of Russian diamonds. Poland does not understand why these bans were not introduced, the diplomat said.
At the same time, the European Commission proposes to impose sanctions against four Russian banks, as well as to impose a ban on the import of Russian rubber, which was also sought by the Polish authorities.
