The Ministry of Defense announced the capture of the village of Krasnaya Gora in the DPR

Volunteers of the assault detachments, with the support of rocket troops and artillery, took control of the village of Krasnaya Gora in the DPR, informed press service of the Ministry of Defense in the Telegram channel.

“In the Donetsk direction, the volunteers of the assault detachments, with fire support from the missile forces and artillery of the Southern Group of Forces, liberated the settlement of Krasnaya Gora of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the defense ministry said in a report.

The day before, on February 12, the founder of PMC “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin informedthat PMC assault detachments took control of the village of Krasnaya Gora located near Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut). He also said that “there is no one on Bakhmut”, and within a radius of about 50 km there are only PMC fighters, who, as Prigozhin expects, will take the city.

Last week – February 10 – the Ministry of Defense reportedthat the Russian military took control of the village of Dvurechnoye in the Kharkiv region. February 4 Defense Department reportedthat Russian servicemen ousted the Ukrainian military from the western outskirts of the village of Dvurechnoye.

February 7 Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu declaredthat the Russian military liberated seven settlements in the Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions during a special operation in Ukraine. We are talking about the settlements of Soledar, Kleshcheevka, Podgornoe, Krasnopolye, Blagodatnoe, Lobkovoe and Nikolaevka. According to the Minister of Defense, military operations are currently successfully developing in the areas of Ugledar and Artemovsk.
