Why Pugachev is not recognized as a foreign agent: the reason has become known

Last Friday, the Zamoskvoretsky Court refused to remove the “black mark” from the artists Maxim Galkin and Semyon Slepakov – both remained in the status of foreign agents. In fact, there was nothing unexpected in this – they did not recognize it in order to shoot. And the artists did nothing indicative of removing the “verig”: neither public repentance, nor a patriotic act, nor just a peaceful gesture towards the Motherland. They went in a hurry. Forgotten, apparently, the old Russian saying about the court and the case. From excessive self-confidence or from personal strategic plans, but most likely purely because of advertising, PR purposes, they tried to sue the state represented by the Ministry of Justice – this does not matter. What matters is that you lost. As they say in the exact sciences – which was required to be proved. They wanted to remind the public about themselves, and it was the audience that reminded them of their dislike for them.

Of course, they will still have the opportunity to argue for their painful status in the Moscow City Court, in the Supreme Court, but this will not change anything. After all, they lost not because the judges made such a decision. But because these decisions did not cause any popular anger.

Yes, no matter how strange it seems, but the foreign agency of Galkin, Slepakov, Makarevich and even Zemfira does not cause the slightest protest from the public. It would seem that she loves them, and in relation to Zemfira – in places even adoring. But where are the angry posts about this on the Internet? Where are the biting jokes on this topic? Where are the underground concerts of artists-foreign agents in Moscow and St. Petersburg – such that those who want to get in climb through windows and kick down doors? Nothing even comes close!

But mind you, it’s something, but people in Russia have always been able to love artists who are unloved by the authorities. And they were never afraid of it. Take a step back – remember Galich and Vysotsky. If the USSR recognized them as foreign agents, would they renounce them? Never! And they renounced Galkin and Makarevich. Straightaway. No doubts or regrets.

Why did it happen? Of course, foreign agents would like to hear an answer that caresses the ear: people, they say, are simply afraid to support them. But no one should indulge in false illusions. And celebrities especially. By and large, people in Russia are not afraid of anything or anyone: they have seen nothing like that over the past hundred years. And they don’t support for one simple reason: both Makarevich and even Zemfira are already heroes of yesterday. And the love for them just passed. Yes, it happens. Even with the stars. Even with idols. Because everything is of course, and the recognition of the public – too. Especially if she is disappointed with neglect, callousness and commercialism. derogatory definitions. And most importantly, the fact that the artist no longer has a divine gift. It was, but it all came out. With malice, malice, irritation and the desire to only take, without giving anything in return.

Remember: “Do not renounce loving!” – so Alla Borisovna Pugacheva sang to us. Loving! And if foreign agents want to continue to be loved in Russia, they must continue to love us. Your audience. And they don’t like it! And Vysotsky and Galich – loved. Always. Whatever happens. No matter how their relationship with the authorities. Until the last. That’s the whole difference.

And Alla Pugacheva, by the way, was refused to be recognized as a foreign agent at the time. And they did it right. Because it is easy to imagine Makarevich with a Jewish passport and Zemfira with a French one, but Pugachev can only be with a Russian one. With such a red-skinned passport. And therefore, it’s time for “Our Scarecrow”, as the people lovingly called her all her life, to return to her homeland. And Galkin, as an exemplary husband, to follow her. And try to fall in love again not with foreign, but with our own, Russian public. And if they love him in return, this will be the removal of the status of a foreign agent from him. And then it will not be particularly important which instance the court will listen to the voice of the people.

Yes, and all other foreign agents – they are suing for their status, they are not suing – it is worth remembering the main thing: in Russia they are always ready to forgive a repentant prodigal son (or daughter), but dismiss a traitor to her interests.
