What threatens the ban on shooting in schools: videos reveal “burnt out” teachers and pedophiles

In recent days, we have learned that girls aged 12-14 have a “slutty look” for which they are not allowed to go to school. And that there is nothing with pink hair to go to a girl in the 10th grade. And if the boy’s hair is not so combed, the teacher can beat him up for it, break his nose. Or in the 8th grade, if you are late for the construction on February 23, they can be called “a bastard and a traitor, zero without a wand” in front of a whole lined up square of students. All this and other goodness has surfaced from social networks. The videos were secretly filmed by schoolchildren with their teachers and directors of educational institutions in the title role.
It’s all the fault of these damned videos – they understood in the State Duma. Like, because such a sur and rubbish from schools follows on the expanses of social networks, that every child has a smartphone in his pocket. There seems to be only one way out – shooting is strictly forbidden. “Such a proposal was born from the appeal of teachers,” one might say, the chairman of the Duma Committee on Education surrenders his own.
And really – sha, that’s it. You need to tie up, you know, in the lessons with video and photo fixations, otherwise they make a movie, instead of doing training. That’s right, says the wisdom of generations. In the famous “Domostroy” of the 15th century, which many refer to, but have not read, it is said how to deal with children.
“Do not beat wives, children and households, this is not good. And when beaten, do not take dirty linen out of the hut. A bill to ban shooting at school is being worked out by the profile committee.
“Do not let go, prohibit” is also a well-known principle. But here a purely technical question arises – how? How to prevent unauthorized photo and video documentation, if even a first grader has a mobile phone? ..
Here Maksut Shadayev, for example, who, on duty, fumbles in IT, suggested turning off Wi-Fi in schools so that they would not indulge. Here, however, two bugs appear at once (“bugs” – “errors”, the minister is aware). First, there is the mobile Internet to post the video. Or in general, first shoot everything interesting, and send it home, for example. But the main thing is not that. How exactly to “learn” without high-speed Internet? That is, rural schools will cope with this, they are already coping. But “big cities, no shore, no bottom” – how is Moscow? The same Ministry of Digital Development is rhetorically steadily introducing IT technologies, “smart classes”, various “electronic schools” into schools, almost with AI in the form of an organizing algorithm … And suddenly bam, and there is no Internet. All the “smart schools” are sitting without Wi-Fi, if only the behavior of the marivanna does not leak into the Network, not algorithmized by anything …
And the shock substance will seep into the “carts” and “contacts” all the same – you can’t keep it. By its main property, it is more fluid than mercury or water. Although, of course, schools and their supreme departments wanted the leaked photo-videos to be more like a pastoral. Say, the sowers of the reasonable-good-eternal cultivate the fields of golden knowledge, and the pink ponies sniff Algernon’s flowers. But it doesn’t happen that the public is filled with socially approving profiles of schools. Grassroots journalism is cut in the same mold as the mainstream media, only more quarrelsome, with reduced ethical responsibility. Only scandal is in demand.
The problem with videos leaked from schools is being actively discussed. Battles “to shoot or not to shoot” rumble on teacher publics and on ordinary ones. Ordinary unlearned citizens in their time are indignant and remember. It can be said that they are outraged equally by teachers, who not only cover up teenage children with slanderous words, but also do not disdain assault. Last week, an eighth-grader was beaten by a teacher in Moscow for having long hair, and last month for swearing. Not so long ago in the Kuban they worked on the backs of the cadets with a whip and a belt, they brought up Cossacks and future officers from them …
Our people are also indignant at children who bring teachers to white heat, sometimes to scuffle. But everyone has the same memories. Previously, children were yelled at at school, publicly shamed for makeup, hairstyles and jewelry (the paint was washed off in the toilet, earrings could be removed and even flushed down the toilet), their personal and family problems were loudly discussed in front of everyone. They also fought with a ruler, they grabbed clothes “not according to the charter”, it happened. In general, they mocked and humiliated “people with thickly painted arrows and challah on their heads” in every possible way. Of particular note are memories of sexual harassment at school. Let me remind you that several cases of pedophilia were proved only thanks to videos recorded on phones, like the case of a life safety teacher in a St. Petersburg gymnasium, for example.
Of course, teachers are actively discussing the ban on video filming at school. Here, too, opinions are divided. “Progressives” point out that the mobile phone is not only a means of communication, but also an assistant in learning. “Smart teachers use the phone for peaceful purposes,” Evgeny Yamburg formulates. Yes, and it will not be possible to either ban them or take them away completely. If telephones are getting into prisons… Opinions that the children have gone rogue, it has become impossible to work, everyone goes to school as they want, do what they want, and “teachers are burning out” sound like a counterpoint.
It is true that being a teacher in a school is very difficult. Teachers are under pressure from reports, administration, new educational standards and ongoing reforms. And among the boys and girls, as well as their parents, there are those still fruits, as well as energy vampires and slanders. And yet, behind everything that happens at school, including the new requirements for patriotic education, we must not forget why you are here. School is for learning. The teacher is like a doctor, who was charged with the duty to give knowledge without damaging anything in the child. No nose, no brain, no psyche. Or even simpler, as Mary Poppins used to say in the movies. “Mary, are you for or against?” “I am neither for nor against. I am with children”.
