The children announced their orders for the New Year. The parents are shocked. For a fashionable phone of the latest model you need to pay 150 thousand, and for a modern hair dryer you need to fork out 40 of your hard-earned money. “MK” visited parent chats and found out what they want from Santa Claus this year.

“I’m thinking where I can run away for the New Year,” a dad from a village in New Riga says passionately. – Every year children ask Santa Claus for a new phone model. And I wear out the old ones! This year I had to order a model for 150 thousand. And I don’t see any difference with last year’s model…

Girls from Rublevka this year are obsessed with hair dryers for 40 thousand. “I don’t understand how it differs from a regular hair dryer,” Dad doesn’t understand. And his youngest daughter asked for a real car for 15 million, like his daughter Anna Khilkevich.

– It will work out here, of course. “I gave her a children’s electric car of a famous racing brand,” said Rublev’s dad.

According to a MK survey conducted in chat rooms in Rublyovka and New Riga, residents of an elite suburb spent on average about 300 thousand on gifts from Santa Claus. The most popular requests were the latest brand phones, popular brand sneakers, and large Lego sets.

Children from the east of Moscow have simpler needs.

“My grandfather asked me for a camera with thermal printing, a cosmetic bag, headphones with glitter and a doll with wings,” says a mother with many children from Perov. – I have five children. I kept it to 20 thousand. My husband and I immediately said that Santa Claus, although a wizard, is still a pensioner. Therefore, you don’t need to order him a lot: it’s hard to cast spells and the magic staff wears out. Believe it!

It’s hard with smart people.

– Last year my child threw a tantrum. He is a fan of the film Titanic and the TV series Chernobyl. I ordered a nuclear reactor and a model of the Titanic for Santa Claus. I was shocked! Where can I get a reactor from? He would have asked for more components for a nuclear bomb… But I found a model for assembling the Titanic. I think he’ll be happy,” says a mother from the “Moms of Krasnaya Presnya” chat. “And so our neighbor in a Santa Claus costume presents him with a construction set, and his son makes a dissatisfied face and then complains: “Titanic” had four pipes, but this one has three…”

According to the botanist’s mother, this year her son asked for an M4 Assault Rifle construction set. The woman hopes that the creators were not mistaken with realism.

Needless to say, this year military orders to Santa Claus were received in a particularly large volume.

– My first grader ordered a tank battle and a “Tank with a rocket launcher” construction set for Grandfather. In the letter, he also asked to visit his uncle, who is now fighting, and give him a sweater with deer and a Christmas tree, said a mother from the “Moms of Balashikha” chat.

In the Moscow region, children asked Grandfather Frost for telephones, speakers with Alice, construction sets and sneakers of fashion brands. The average bill for gifts for children for a family of one or two children was 15-20 thousand. Large families allocated an average of the same 20 thousand for gifts, regardless of the number of children.

Children from St. Petersburg surprised their parents with their thirst for beauty.

– My daughter asked for a Genshin dakimakura pillow. It took me a long time to figure out what it was. It turned out that it was Japanese anime, says a mother from the northern capital. – And my son asked Santa Claus for five tickets to a stand-up comedy. So that we can go with the whole family. He himself prepared a stand-up performance for the New Year. I hope that Santa Claus will read it too.

The average bill for gifts in the city on the Neva is the same as in Moscow: 15-20 thousand rubles for two children.
