Villages in Crimea remain without electricity for the second day. People describe their suffering on social networks: “No one from Krymenergo showed up in the village, the dispatcher’s phone is switched off,” “Gas boilers don’t work, it’s cold in the apartments, the pumping station doesn’t work,” “The village of Kumovo – no information, a large family will soon freeze.” .

A resident of the village of Klinovka, 15 km from Simferopol, described the situation.

Marina Eliseeva left a comment on social networks: “The village of Klinovka, Simferopol district, has been without electricity since 18:00 on November 26. It’s minus temperature outside, snowing, blizzarding. People are afraid that the heating will defrost; there is no gas in the village, everything is on electricity. There is no water flowing into the houses.”

We contacted the woman.

“We live in a small village, population about 200 people, everyone has private houses,” says Marina. – The temperature in the house is the same as outside. There was a very strong wind, so the remaining heat was blown away long ago. If there is no light for another day, the refrigerators will leak, and the food in the freezer will spoil. We understand that an emergency has occurred, we are ready to press, but there must be a reasonable time frame for eliminating the accident.

In Marina’s house, everything runs on electricity: the pump that pumped water into the house, the electric boiler, the electric stove.

– Our electricity is often turned off, no matter the rain or wind. And even more so with such a hurricane. We asked for an inventory of electrical networks back in the summer. Because with the slightest accident, a lot of time is spent searching for the place where the breakdown occurred. Once we sat without power for three days in February. Regarding frequent outages, collective letters were written from the entire village to Rospotrebnadzor, Krymenergo, and the Ministry of Energy. In response, we received only unsubscribes. This time we spent a day without light, water and in terrible cold. We went to a gas station to warm up, charge our phone and drink hot tea.

According to the interlocutor, on Monday not a single brigade was working in the village.

– This means sleeping in jackets for the second night. My son hasn’t recovered from the flu yet, but now he’ll catch a cold again,” adds Marina. – In big cities, light has long appeared, they do it there first, and in villages – according to the residual principle. The operational headquarters is working, but there is no information anywhere about which teams are working where. Which locality is next in line now? Write honestly: you won’t have electricity for a week. We’ll rent a hotel then. But no, no information. We sit and wait.

On Monday evening, Marina finally left the village: “We’re going to a hotel in Simferopol. We rented rooms at our own expense, no one provided us with anything. We decided that life is more valuable. But not a single brigade came to our village. The neighboring village of Konstantinovka, where more than 5,000 people live, has also been without electricity for two days.”

When asked how many villagers are leaving their homes, Marina shrugs: “I don’t know. The village is dark, we didn’t visit anyone. Perhaps someone’s generator is working. Old houses still have stove heating, it’s easier there.”
