“We thought that bikers were riding”: a resident of Pskov described a drone attack

“This cacophony has gone on for quite some time”

Pskov survived the first drone attack since the beginning of the NMD, so the city continues to have a heated discussion of what happened. MK took a comment from a local resident who witnessed the nighttime explosions.

“It all started around 23.20. First there was a series of sounds that looked like explosions, the woman says. We didn’t understand what it was at first. We went out to the balcony, looked, thought that it was some bikers riding under the windows.

After the explosions thundered, sounds began, similar to machine gun fire. Then more explosions, then machine-gun fire.

Then a string of fire engines drove past the house, some other cars with flashing lights …

This whole cacophony went on for quite some time. But all this was heard only in the center and near the airport. There were no sounds in Zapskovye anymore, the residents of high-rise buildings could only see the glow.

Now it’s like nothing happened. I just saw teenagers riding bikes around the airport. The only thing is that the police are standing at the entrance to the airfield, and they don’t let anyone through, except for those who work there.”
