In the second half, Torpedo tried to change the situation on the field and regain control of the ball, but an unfortunate mistake by the defenders, who ran far from their goal and missed the breakthrough of Daniil Kornyushin, who unsuccessfully tried to stop the goalkeeper of the Automobile Plant, allowed SKA to increase the difference in the score and eventually win the long-awaited victory. It is worth noting the reliable defense of the army team, which allowed the hosts to keep a clean sheet.

And I think one of these components helped us win. There is a football aura here, and the work that the players did was rewarded. This is all for a reason. Substitutions in the first half are due to the fact that there are two games, two strategies for a given match – cup and championship. We started from the game for the cup and the next step – the game with Torpedo – we thought about the move ahead. There were certain combinations played out, there were, so to speak, planned substitutions, I mean the game for the cup, but still the game always dictates. If we take today’s game, then all the substitutions were directly related to the game. Only one was affected by the limit, I had to do it,” noted Roman Sharonov, head coach of FC SKA-Khabarovsk.

After the victory over the Moscow Torpedo, the Khabarovsk team earns 28 points, which allows them to rise to 11th place in the championship table. Already bread. SKA-Khabarovsk will play the next match on Saturday, March 23, in Tyumen. The local team is now in seventh place with 36 points, so the match will be difficult.
