Several stages of cycling competitions will be held in the region. “MK in Pskov” was informed about this by the press service of the government of the Pskov region.
The Governor of the Pskov Region, Mikhail Vedernikov, approved the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of cycling competitions. The first and second stages will take place on the territory of Velikiye Luki from May 23 to 26. The city will host group races and a criterium on the streets. The individual race will take place in the Novosokolniki district.
In addition, during this period, the region will host the regional stage of the All-Russian mass race, the Pskov Region Cup and the Pskov city cycling championship dedicated to Russia Day, the first stage of the Pskov region cycling championship and the Russian cycling championship in a multi-day race.
On August 24, on the territory of the Pechora municipal district, the second stage of the Pskov region cycling championship (mountain bike, cross-country, marathon).
The competition cycle will end on September 21-22 with the fight for the Pskov Region Cup in cycling. The races will take place in the Palkinsky district, Pechora municipal district and the city of Pechora.
