“One hundred thousand, more or less. Do not humiliate me, for God’s sake, do not climb into the soul. It is necessary to ring all the bells – how not ashamed to pay such pensions to actors? And she came to Russia – in the muzzle! But by the way, I never wanted to leave, I am a patriot. And I was called to shoot abroad many times. Back in Soviet times.

– Wasn’t it allowed then?

“And not just me. They said to me: “She is very busy at home.” Which, by the way, was true. Because of this, even in Germany they took offense at me. They filmed a four-episode work there and they wanted to see me there. But I was not allowed to bye-bye.
