Vyazniki hosted the Russian Orienteering Championship

For three days in the Vyaznikovsky district, events of the national championship in orienteering were held.
The strongest representatives of this sport gathered in the 33rd region. There was a struggle between the participants for the victory in the Cross-classic, Cross-multi-day and Cross-marathon.
In total, 110 people from 27 regions of our country participated in the competition. There were also eminent orienteers: 6 Honored Masters of Sports, 2 International Class Masters of Sports, more than 80 Masters of Sports.
Vladimir was represented by ten athletes who showed good results and won two complete sets of medals!
Gold, silver and bronze medals went to the Honored Master of Sports Anastasia Rudnaya. Master of Sports Veronika Kalinina has the same kit.
One of the strongest juniors in the country, the recent winner of the Russian championship in Perm, master of sports Olesya Gladilkina, who became 8th in the Cross-Classic discipline and 7th in the Cross-Marathon, also performed successfully.
