VTsIOM: 17% of Russians refused summer vacation due to lack of money

More than 17% of Russians in the summer of 2022 refused to take a vacation due to lack of money. Such data was provided by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM).

28% of people aged 18 to 24 had to make adjustments to their plans – they could not go where they were going. People in the age group 25-34 changed plans in 26% of cases, 35-44 years – in 20%.

35% of those surveyed said they had to cancel their vacation plans due to lack of money. Another 18% were unable to rest due to the fact that they were not released from work. 10% were unable to implement what they had in mind due to the political situation, sanctions and the closure of southern airports.
