Voronezh handball players won twice over the Moscow club

In the next round of the Major League, the Voronezh handball players beat the Moscow team of CSKA reservists – “MSSUOR No. 2-Academy”. The match was held in Voronezh at the Grand Prix sports center the day before, on October 29.
At the beginning of the season, Muscovites beat one of the main favorites of the tournament, Volgograd Kaustik. The struggle was serious, and yet Voronezh won with a score of 29:23.
The Voronezh team led the first half with a score of 13:10. In the second half, the game was almost equal, and only in the final minutes did the Voronezh handball players take the lead.
In the Voronezh team, Evgeny Gribkov scored 10 points (one miss), Ivan Busen – 4 and Fedor Selin – 4 points.
On Sunday, October 30, at 12.30, the replay of the teams “Voronezh” and “MSSUOR No. 2-Academy” took place. And again Voronezh won – 30:29. According to the results of all games of the season, Alexey Doronkin’s wards are leading in the highest league of the Russian handball championship with 12 points scored.
