Volunteers of the Union of Martial Arts of Russia went to the special operation zone

98 Russian professional athletes from the Union of Martial Arts decided to go to the zone of the special military operation. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.
As the official noted, among the volunteers are masters of sports, winners of tournaments and honored athletes. The athletes will be trained by special forces instructors. The detachment formed from them will be called “Union”.
Athletes themselves consider participation in SVO their duty. The fighters will be trained in the Chechen Republic in Gudermes, where a special training center operates – the Russian University of Special Forces.
