Vologda athletes begin the fight for medals at the Russian-Chinese Youth Games

Representatives of the Vologda region have already arrived in Jilin to take part in the winter competitions among young athletes. The best Russian and Chinese juniors will compete for medals there.
So, three Vologda residents are declared in the competition: these are two skiers – Arina Kalicheva and Alina Pekletsova, as well as speed skater Averin Semyon. These Vologda athletes excelled at all-Russian competitions, for which they received invitations to the national teams. Now they defend the honor of the region and the country at the tournament.
The opening ceremony will take place today, December 16. The competition will last until December 20. All major winter sports are included in the Games.
