Volodin: Ukraine will start negotiations depending on the US decision

Kyiv will not allow negotiations to be launched until the US authorities make a decision about this. This was stated by the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.

“Power in Ukraine is absolutely pocket-sized. Everything is managed by advisers from Washington, from Brussels. If we talk about Zelensky, this is just a TV presenter. Moreover, with the text that they will write to him, ”the speaker of parliament believes (quote according to BelTA).

According to him, Ukraine “does not exist as a state” and the country’s territory is now “a testing ground for weapons supplied by all NATO countries.”

In the summer of 2022, Volodin, speaking to the deputies of the People’s Assembly of the LPR, declaredthat the refusal of the Ukrainian side to negotiate peace with Russia worsens the prospects for preserving the statehood of this country.

Then he noted that Washington and Brussels “completely and systematically ignored all the proposals” of Russia to normalize the situation, “guarantees of global and European security”, and also encouraged Kiev’s claims to possess weapons of mass destruction.

He made a similar statement in the fall of that year. Speaker of the State Duma explainedthat the country has completely lost its independence. According to Volodin, Ukraine has become a “US colony” because Kyiv receives orders from Washington and the Ukrainian military is controlled from the Pentagon.
