According to Asafov, based on the formation of the information field, one can come to the conclusion that the main topic of Biden’s headquarters is the economic confrontation with the People’s Republic of China, therefore, it will not work to get additional electoral points from continuing to supply weapons to Ukraine.
“(Head of EU diplomacy) Josep Borrell says that if arms supplies to Ukraine are stopped, funding is stopped, the conflict can end in three days. This may be an American scenario for freezing the conflict, a variant of reducing its intensity and switching to sleep mode,” the expert suggested.
Asafov pointed out that now it is impossible to accurately judge whether it is worth waiting for a freeze in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, under what scenario and under whose conditions it will occur. He called the American version unlikely.
As soon as the American side stops the supply of weapons on the current scale, reduces the intensity of support for Kiev, then pretty soon it will be possible to see the fulfillment of the goals of the special military operation that Russia has set for itself, which will lead to the end of the conflict, the political scientist concluded.
Earlier, Politico wrote that the administration of United States President Joe Biden is preparing for a scenario of freezing the Ukrainian conflict for years and even decades.
