Ballerina Anastasia Volochkova explained why she did not want to go to the funeral of her former boyfriend, Sergei Kuznetsov, who died in a pre-trial detention center. The man died on November 28. Relatives of Sergei Kuznetsov buried him secretly, fearing to attract the attention of journalists to the mournful event. They had something to worry about, because the man was often seen in the company of the scandalous ballerina. Now Anastasia Volochkova is trying to convince others that Kuznetsov was an insignificant figure in her life, “just a lover.”

“I didn’t go to the funeral of many of my teachers, and you want me to go to the funeral of a person who was just my lover for a certain amount of time?! — the famous dancer was indignant. “He has relatives, people who have a serious relationship with him.”

46-year-old Sergei Kuznetsov was arrested for two months and sent to a pre-trial detention center after severely beating his wife. He previously worked as a fitness instructor. Kuznetsov and Volochkova met on the “Let’s Get Married” show on the eve of 2022. Then he introduced himself as the owner of a bath complex and was one of three contenders for the role of the groom in a television show, and the ballerina acted as a guest star expert. A well-known socialite liked the handsome man. A romance began, and a couple of days later the man was already visiting the dancer’s mansion near Moscow. Then Volochkova flew to the Maldives and took Kuznetsov with her: she paid for his flight, and she rented a villa in advance. Soon after their return, the couple broke up. The ballerina complained that her chosen one had absolutely no money and he constantly asked her for it. At the same time, Volochkova continued to maintain a relationship with her ex-boyfriend: she invited him and his then girlfriend to her productions. On the eve of 2023, Kuznetsov married, also to Anastasia, but with the last name Kondrachuk, who made money by telling fortunes with tarot cards. However, this woman could not foresee her fate. The tragedy occurred on May 12. Kuznetsov, having fun, beat his wife so badly that she ended up in intensive care: she was diagnosed with a closed head injury, internal bleeding in the head, multiple contusions and bruises on her face and body. Volochkova commented on what happened several times after that. She claimed that Kuznetsov’s wife was jealous of the famous ballerina and this could have played a role in the tragedy that occurred. The dancer pointed out that while she and her ex-chosen one were a couple, he never raised his hand to her.
