Volleyball teams from the Dukhovshchinsky district took part in competitions for the Spartakiad

Teams of volleyball players and female volleyball players from the Dukhovshchinsky district took part in the qualifying competitions at the Spartakiad of municipalities of the Smolensk region in the village of Kardymovo. The girls’ team from the Dukhovshchinsky district took third place after intense battles with their opponents. In the men’s category, athletes from Yelnya won, second place was taken by representatives of Kardymovo, and third place went to the team from Dukhovshchina.

The girls’ team was represented by athletes from the village of Ozerny, and the coach was Alexey Alekseevich Solovyov. The youth team included representatives from the village of Prechistoye and the village of Ozerny, who trained at the Azimut volleyball club. The coach of the youth team was Alexey Konstantinovich Rusakov.
