Volleyball players of “Dynamo” reached the playoffs of the Superleague

Krasnodar “Dynamo” was able to break into the top eight teams of the women’s volleyball Superleague according to the results of the regular season. The blue and white took the last, eighth, vacancy.
In the final round Krasnodar played on the road with Proton Saratov. The victory remained with the owners of the site in a tie-break – 3:2 (21:25, 25:20, 21:25, 25:20, 15:7). Dinamovok could arrange any result, since their main rival Krasnoyarsk “Yenisei” in a parallel match lost at home to Kazan “Dynamo-Ak Bars” with a score of 1:3.
In the match against Proton, Anastasia Zhukova (16 points), Maria Bogovskaya (15), Yulia Podskalnaya (14) and Valeria Shevchuk (13) became the most productive in Krasnodar. Svetlana Gatina earned 23 points for Proton, Natalya Malykh, ex-player of Dynamo, scored 20 more points. Based on the results of 26 rounds, Krasnodar has 11 wins, 34 points and 8th place. Enisey has 32 tournament points with the same number of wins. Proton finished in fifth position (17 wins and 50 points).
In the playoff series, Dynamo will meet with Moscow teammates who took first place in the regular season. The starting game of the series up to two victories will be held in the capital on April 5. On the 9th the teams will meet in Krasnodar. The decisive duel, if necessary, will take place on April 12 in Moscow.
