Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the regular championship of the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo made its professional debut during the current regular season and was immediately able to gain a foothold among the strongest teams. The red-blacks very rarely lose and, in almost every match, they beat opponents who played in the Major League “B” and earlier.
Tekstilshchik finished the calendar year 2023 in 3rd position, trailing in the standings only to rivals representing Dagestan and VK Obninsk. In the first official matches of 2024, the Tekstilshchik volleyball players could improve their place, but lost twice in a row to their opponents from Obninsk. The defeats did not give Tekstilshchik the opportunity to move to 2nd place, but they retained the red-black 3rd position, which is already an excellent result for the team from Ivanovo, given the status of a debutant.
