On January 16-17, the Vodnik reserve team played its first matches of the new year as part of the preliminary stage of the All-Russian Major League competition. In Kirov, he met with the youth staff of the local Rodina. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region.
The closest reserve of the Pomorie main team played the first match very confidently and won a convincing victory – 6:1. In the repeat meeting, the Kirov team’s double team was joined by four Super League players. It is worth adding to this that both rivals had to not only fight each other, but also adapt to the snowstorm that broke out that day in Kirov. In a tense and stubborn struggle, unfortunately, the Arkhangelsk team lost – 1:3.
– The opponent had two different lineups. Therefore, the matches turned out to be completely different from each other. At the same time, from the point of view of organizing our game, I liked the second meeting more than the first. However, with a relatively equal game, the Kirov team converted almost all of their chances, which cannot be said about us,” summed up the senior coach of the Vodnik reserve team, Roman Sukhorukov.
The Vodnik double team will play its next matches in Syktyvkar on January 20-21, when it will meet with the local Stroitel.
