Vodnik’s double defeated HC Monchegorsk twice

On January 27-28, Vodnik’s reserve team played its first home matches of the new year. On the ice of the Trud stadium he met with HC Monchegorsk from the city of the same name. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Sports.
In the off-season, the club’s roster from the Arctic was replenished with a large group of young local students, who, of course, need time to start competing with the rest of their subgroup rivals. For this reason, they were unable to impose at least some kind of struggle on the residents of Arkhangelsk. As a result, both meetings ended in “dry” defeats – 12:0 and 13:0.
– Of course, the opponent’s level is not comparable to ours. Therefore, what was important for us was not so much the result, but the good quality of the guys’ play. If we were completely satisfied with the first, then we still have to work and work on the second,” summed up the senior coach of the Vodnik reserve team, Roman Sukhorukov.
The Vodnik double will play its next matches on February 1-2 in Arkhangelsk, when it will meet Krasnogorsk Zorkiy on the ice of the Trud stadium.
