Vladislav Ovchinsky: vegan yoghurt production started in Moscow

Vegan yogurts were developed and started to be produced in Moscow. The development belongs to a capital company specializing in the production of fermented milk products.

“Enterprises of the Moscow food industry are successfully supporting modern trends, mastering new production technologies, expanding the range and providing consumers with demanded goods. For example, Yoghurt Shop, a capital-based manufacturer of fermented milk products, has developed and started producing vegan yogurt based on banana milk and vegan sourdough,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.

The Head of the Department added that it is planned to produce up to 500 packs of the novelty every month. In general, the capacities of the enterprise allow producing up to 28 thousand product packages per month: vegetable and classic yoghurts, cottage cheese, kefir, sour cream and other goods. All products contain only natural ingredients, without the use of dyes, preservatives and vegetable fat, and instead of sugar, honey and Jerusalem artichoke syrup are used. In addition, medicinal and lactose-free products are produced here.

According to the founder of the company, Anna Litvinova, over the 6 years of the company’s operation, production volumes have grown 10 times. The company offers a wide range of classic products, as well as with unusual flavors and additives. The line also includes vegan yogurts with almond and coconut milk. —
