Special materials for the external reinforcement system (EAS), made by a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, helped carry out construction work without the involvement of heavy equipment and welding during the reconstruction of a socially significant facility in Kazan.
“Over 130 industrial enterprises of the city offer a wide range of modern developments for the construction industry. They produce, among other things, innovative materials that can reduce the use of heavy equipment, construction time, free people from working in hazardous areas, and save financial and other resources,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
He said that in 2022, the Nanotechnology Center for Composites supplied over 8 kilometers of high-strength lamellas to customers across the country – special plates used to strengthen reinforced concrete structures. This year, the materials produced by SVA were used in the reconstruction of the Institute of Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan.
As Evgeny Rafailov, head of the NCC Sales Department, specified, reinforcement with composites helped to avoid a high load on the structures being repaired. SVA can significantly increase the bearing capacity and reliability of buildings and structures under construction with an increase in overhaul periods. And during the repair – to eliminate the consequences of the destruction of structures.
