The Mosprom Center helped capital companies find new foreign partners. They entered promising markets abroad, despite the sanctions pressure.
“In 2022, capital companies were forced to reorient their export flows and enter new markets. To minimize the difficulties, many industrialists took advantage of one of the important mechanisms for supporting the city – participation in the buyer’s program. This allowed them to find new partners in the markets of Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the CIS,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the City of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the Capital.
For example, NexTouch’s interactive monitors have aroused great interest in the UAE, Morocco and South Africa, as well as in the CIS countries. The manufacturer of chocolate products “Mint” began to work with the Middle East. Packaging manufacturer OSQ Group started exporting to Africa and the Middle East.
Last year, the capital’s food producers also actively explored the markets of friendly countries. Holding “Kolomensky” in 2022 for the first time began to export the famous wafer cake “Shokoladnitsa” to new markets – to the Republic of Belarus, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
