Vice Mayor Yefimov: tax revenues from residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ reached 2.8 billion rubles

From January to September, residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ transferred 2.8 billion rubles in taxes to the budget.
“Today, 90 high-tech enterprises are residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. For the first half of the year they transferred 1.3 billion rubles. That is, in the third quarter, the total amount of tax revenues from residents more than doubled,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.
Yefimov added that almost 1.2 billion rubles went to the city budget, and about 1.6 billion rubles to the federal budget. The sector of optics, microelectronics, industrial automation and robotics provided the most contributions for three quarters – more than a billion rubles.
According to Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department, since the opening of the SEZ, the volume of tax deductions has exceeded 18.7 billion rubles.
“In addition, in January-September 2022, the volume of insurance premiums paid by resident enterprises increased. They amounted to almost 1.5 billion rubles,” he stressed.
Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, added that SEZ residents are entitled to significant benefits. For example, companies are exempted from paying property, transport and land taxes for 10 years. As a result, for 9 months of 2022, residents of the Moscow SEZ saved 857 million rubles on taxes.
