Vladislav Ovchinsky announced the creation of about 700 workers this year in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

Residents of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” created about 700 jobs at their enterprises in the first quarter of this year, which is 70% more than the same period last year.

“During the first three months of this year, residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ have employed 699 specialists of various profiles at their high-tech industries. This is 70 percent higher than in 2022 and 4.5 times more than the number of jobs created in the same period in 2021,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department of the capital.

He added that in total, since the creation of the SEZ, almost 10.4 thousand people have been employed at the enterprises of residents. It should be noted that more than 200 high-tech companies are located on the basis of the SEZ today. More than 90 companies of firms have the status of a resident of them.

According to Gennady Degtev, Director General of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, the majority of jobs in the first quarter – 321 – were provided by enterprises operating in the microelectronics, robotics, optics and industrial automation industries. Most employees during this period were employed by: Mikron, Elvis and NM-TECH. If we count from the moment of the creation of the SEZ, then in total, manufacturers have hired more than 6.1 thousand employees.

It should be noted that residents and companies of the SEZ, in addition to benefits, can use the infrastructure, cooperate with other companies of the SEZ.
