Innovative lightweight plastic pallets have been developed in Moscow. The novelty has already been patented, and it will be produced by the resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, the Legoplast company.
“The company began work at the Moscow SEZ site at the end of 2022 and is already developing a new type of product: innovative plastic pallets that have an improved design. For this purpose, a resident of the metropolitan SEZ purchased and installed a new production line. The enterprise is ready to produce over 400,000 units of products per year,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
Pallets will be in demand in the agro-industrial complex, industrial and agricultural enterprises. In addition, they will become indispensable in warehouses and marketplaces. Products are significantly lighter and cheaper than classic ones, and their load parameters remain the same. The unique geometry allows stacks to be stacked tightly.
Like other pallets produced by the Moscow SEZ resident, these products are fully recyclable, suitable for return and non-return transportation, can be disinfected, and have a service life of at least 10 years.
According to Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, the company leases premises with an area of 1.1 thousand square meters. meters. The resident has invested more than 200 million rubles in production and will create about 50 jobs in the future.
