The production of base stations for the industrial Internet of Things has been launched by the capital’s enterprise. The product line includes built-in modules, portable and trunk stations, and more. The developments belong to the Moscow company, which will be able to produce up to 100,000 items per year.
“Every year, the lines of metropolitan enterprises in the electronics industry are replenished with an increasing number of advanced products. At the same time, modern electronic devices manufactured in Moscow are increasingly being used for digitalization and modernization in industry,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
He added that the capital company ATB Electronics this year produced the first thousand base stations for the industrial Internet of things of its own design. By the end of the year, the enterprise’s capacity will allow to produce up to 100,000 such products.
The creation of products for the industrial Internet of things in this company began two years ago. For this direction, in addition to base stations, the company also developed modems, industrial mini-computers, sensors and processor modules.
Recall that the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is a system of interconnected computer networks and production facilities connected to them with built-in sensors and software for collecting and exchanging data, with the possibility of remote control and management in an automated mode.
