The production of fish products will appear in the Mozhaisk region. This decision was made at a meeting of the State Legislative Committee of Moscow. The plant will provide the city with about 250 new jobs.

“The production will be located in an unused building located in 3rd Dorogobuzhsky Lane, which was previously reconstructed with violations and was not used for a long time. The investor plans to launch the production of fresh-frozen and slightly salted fish, as well as hot and cold smoked products by 2025,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.

Now the unused building will begin to work for the benefit of Moscow’s industry and will maintain a high level of provision of residents with food.

“In addition to the construction of a fish products plant, several more projects are being implemented in Moscow to build food enterprises. Thus, a food cluster will appear in the TAO, the total area of which will be about 160 hectares. It will be able to accommodate small producers of dairy and meat products, sweets, drinks, herbs, packaging and many others. According to the plan, the first buildings will be available for rent in 2025,” Ovchinsky added.

Recall that investors implementing MaIP can rent land for the development of industries in the city at a rate of one ruble per year. At the moment, 11 such contracts have already been concluded, including with food manufacturers.
