VK and Zen launched a New Year’s cultural project

From December 25 to 29, VKontakte and Zen users will have free access to broadcasts and New Year’s content from institutions and cultural figures. This was reported by the VK press service.
More than 100 cultural institutions are participating in the special project “Culture under a Fur Coat”. Among them: Peterhof Museum-Reserve, Multimedia Art Museum, Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theater, Faberge Museum, Moscow Academic Musical Theater. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko, State Tretyakov Gallery, Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater and others.
The project was opened by Russian theater and film actress Yulia Peresild. On the night of December 24-25, she held a New Year’s broadcast in the VKontakte community, where she summed up the year and talked about creative plans for the next year.
According to a press release, as part of the VKontakte project, users will be shown a concert by the Questa Musica ensemble, the play “Shakespeare’s Room,” as well as an entire “Nutcracker” marathon performed by artists from federal and regional theaters.
In addition, blogger Nikita Tau will answer questions from subscribers live, Anna Egoyan will read her poems,
“In Zen, art historian and presenter Alina Sopova will publish a video on the topic “Recipes for the table from Salvador Dali” on the channel “Merchant’s Wife at Tea. Art”. Documentary author Oleg Zayanov will talk about the influence of European culture on America. The channel “arts_tobe – just about art” will publish material about Andy Warhol’s New Year’s cards for Tiffany&Co,” the company said in a statement.
