Vilfand: frosts down to minus 27 degrees are expected in the Moscow region at night

The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, warned that on the night of February 9-10 it will be very cold in the Moscow region – the air temperature will drop to minus 27 degrees Celsius.

“The weather is super cold tomorrow,” the meteorologist said. “Night temperatures are minus 22-24 degrees, in the region up to minus 27.” This weather, as noted, is 11 degrees below the February norm for this region.

On Saturday, anticyclonic weather will remain in the capital, it will be sunny and without precipitation, but still cold. The weather forecaster predicts light snow on Sunday.
