High temperatures are expected this week in several regions of the Russian Federation. This statement was made by the scientific director of the country’s Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand, he is quoted by Lenta.ru.
According to the forecaster, hot weather conditions are expected in the Southern Federal District. So, on August 21 in Adygea the air will heat up to 39 degrees, and in the Rostov region up to 40. In the cities of the Black Sea coast – 37, in the Krasnodar Territory today and tomorrow it will be 39 degrees.
An abnormal temperature was also recorded in the North Caucasian Federal District. In North Ossetia and Kabardino-Balkaria it will reach 38 degrees, in the east of the Stavropol Territory 42 degrees are expected. And in the Krasnodar Territory the weather will be around 35 degrees.
At the same time, an emergency warning of elevated temperature has been announced in the Altai Territory, the specialist concluded.
