It will be possible to swim in the Black Sea until at least October 10. This was stated by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand. He noted that this is a rather long “velvet season”.

The meteorologist did not rule out that it could be extended. It is already clear that the upper layer of water in the sea is well warmed up. A little later it will become clear whether this heat will remain until the twentieth of October.

Vilfand noted that now in Tuapse and Gelendzhik the sea has warmed up to +28 degrees. In Sochi up to +27, and in Anapa up to +25.
