Cardiologist Anna Korenevich in her Telegram channel named 5 products that contribute to the formation of diabetes.

She noted that potential diabetics, contrary to myths, almost never eat sweets, but instead consume large amounts of highly refined carbohydrates.

“In 70% of cases of diabetes, an unbalanced diet is to blame,” Korenevich wrote.

Among the products that provoke diabetes, she noted white rice, bakery products, sausage, semi-finished products and canned food. All of them contain excessive amounts of sugar. The doctor recommended to limit the consumption of these products.

At the same time, she noted that a lack of whole grains in the diet, the consumption of which should be increased, as well as vegetables, nuts, and whole fruits, also leads to diabetes.
