The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand said that this week there will be “March weather” in Moscow.

According to the meteorologist, the air temperature in the capital in the last days of January will not fall below minus two degrees.

So, Vilfand said, on Monday, January 30, it will be minus one to three degrees in Moscow, and on the rest of the days it will be from zero to minus three. In addition, from Tuesday, the average temperature will be about six degrees above normal – this is in line with mid-March.

Nevertheless, the scientific instructor of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia noted that it will snow in Moscow all these days, and a blizzard is expected in the capital at the end of the week.

Recall that until 21:00 on February 1, the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia warned residents of Moscow and the Moscow region about black ice, and until 9:00 on January 31, gusts of up to 17 meters per second are expected in the Moscow region.
