Vika Tsyganova’s husband opened up at his wife’s show: “He says help”

The fact that the singer Vika Tsyganova is also a designer was once again remembered by her fans who came to the fashion show, which took place in a historic mansion on Tverskoy Boulevard. The artist, who has been on the scene for almost 40 years, as it turned out, has been designing clothes for a quarter of a century. It’s just that not everyone knows about it. She showed her next collection to fashion lovers.

A fairly authentic location with stucco and parquet was chosen for the show – a house that, presumably, noble people walked around even before the revolution. However, it is understandable: Tsyganova showed clothes in the Russian style with modern elements, so that one and the other were perfectly combined.

At the entrance, guests were greeted by living mime dolls, with which the guests were happy to take pictures, who were given champagne and expensive chocolates.

At some point, the singer’s husband Vadim Tsyganov appeared, with whom the artist has been together for 35 years. He came in in a great mood and languished in anticipation of the start of the show. Of course, we could not pass by, finding out how the spouses find a common language on fashion issues, and not only.

– For me, Vika’s show is a holiday, a burlesque of emotions, – the star husband began the story with burning eyes.

– Does Vika consult with you on fashion issues?

– Certainly. She and I are husband and wife. I tell everyone: “This is my better half.” There are creative disputes, although we almost never argue on fashion issues – this is her element, this is beauty. She is a woman, and she understands and thinks more about this, and sometimes I even give up. She drags me to her and says: “Help.” And I can’t even say anything, I just see: it’s beautiful. And this is the most important thing. Well, she is always on the cutting edge of fashion, I would say – in her models, the dose of archaism is reduced to zero. Fashion is a cutting edge, and she feels it.

Where does Vika get her ideas from?

– Travels constantly, does not pass by shops, looks, studies, monitors.

– Do you often ask for advice in everyday life?

– Every day. She asks what to wear, whether I like it or not, and so on. I’m already a consultant here. Moreover, I have already proven topics, when it is necessary to say what you like (smiles). Even when you don’t like it. You know, when you love, you have to give in. I can say: “You are wrong, but you are right. OK”.

– Does your wife tell you what to wear?

– No, here I resist. For example, I like this shirt, so I put it on today and went.

– Do you remember how Vika started her design career?

Yes, she was wearing a Chanel dress. I chose this (laughs). In fact, since childhood, she has been drawing, embroidering, she liked it, but then something “went wrong”, she began to study only music. Then she returned to design. Now the whole house is already busy with work, first one floor, then the second, and so on. Girls and women collect collections all over the world, I don’t know why. We will probably create a museum (smiles). For men, he also creates something, indulges. I walk in her things. When we went around the world with Fyodor Konyukhov, she sewed me a club jacket from the most venomous snake in the world. In Thailand, when they traveled, she spied on what could be surprising, and created this jacket. By the way, she was the first in the world to start working with python, no one has done this yet. – Can we say that you are the main fan of Vika Tsyganova?

– But why? Today I am her main fan, tomorrow – mom. There are also friends who just snatch it from me …

When the girls finally showed the collection, the main character of the event herself appeared behind the scenes. Vika looked like a real model herself: with a perfect figure, in a little black dress and massive expensive earrings. She admitted to reporters that her passion for fashion is a family story.

“Officially, I’ve been sewing for 25 years, but in general it’s already 30. My father sewed,” the star said, explaining along the way that she takes her design job very seriously. Even the models for the show were selected not only in appearance, but also intellect.

“My task is to make the girls who go on the podium really convey the meanings. When I was picking up girls at a casting, I asked them to name five of my favorite Russian artists. There was a strict casting. And then, I would say, not very strict. I’m creating a theater of fashion, so out of a hundred girls I have chosen only three so far. They are specially calibrated for my clothes. Russia is very creative, and I want people to read it, so that there is nothing dried up, ”summed up Tsyganova.
