Victoria Poltorak plays in “The Trap” with her daughter

On Friday, August 5, the premiere of the action movie “Trap” will take place on the air of the NTV channel. Robbers break into Inga’s country house and take her daughter and nanny hostage. They demand a ransom of 20 million euros. At the time of the attack, Inga’s ex-husband Sergey turns up in the house. The main roles in the film were played by Dmitry Klepatsky, Victoria Poltorak, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Maxim Dakhnenko, Linda Lapinsh and others.

Inga (Victoria Poltorak) is a vice-president of a large Moscow bank. One day, robbers break into her country house, take her daughter and the girl’s nanny hostage. The scoundrels quickly put forward their conditions: they demand to transfer 20 million euros to an account in Europe. They give only 48 hours to organize the transfer. However, withdrawing such an amount from the bank is not easy, it can lead to serious problems. Inga is ready to do anything for the sake of her dearest person and put an end to her career.

By a happy coincidence, at the time of the attack, Inga’s ex-husband Sergei (Dmitry Klepatsky) turned up in the house, he dropped in to visit his daughter. The ex-spouses have a difficult relationship, but for the sake of preserving the family, Sergey is ready for anything. Risking his life, he overcomes the distance from Moscow to Prague in a truck of diplomatic mail in a day.

“In the film, my film daughter was played by my own daughter, Sophie Drozd. She always wanted to try herself as an actress, and “The Trap” was her debut. To be honest, she surprised me because she behaved like an adult. Filming with your child is a double responsibility. There are many complex psychological scenes in the film, it was not easy for Sofiyka to let all this through herself and survive. Of course, I was worried, sometimes I even had to play for two. So on the set I was not only an actress, but also a mother. We had long and busy shifts, which sometimes ended well after midnight. We put our daughter to rest for a while, then we woke her up and took her to the playground. She proved to be a real fighter. For me it was a bit exhausting, but interesting and amazing experience. I don’t know what happened in the end, I’m worried. And Sophie is really looking forward to her first premiere in her life, ”says Victoria Poltorak.

Filming took place in Moscow, Moscow region and Tallinn.
