Victor Dobronravov raises daughters-athletes: “I look with bated breath”

The actor admitted that he does not want an acting future for children

Viktor Dobronravov became a guest on the red carpet at the screening of a Russian science fiction film. The artist was accompanied by his wife Alexandra and eldest daughter, 12-year-old Varya. The audience appreciated how the girl grew up, but the journalists, of course, asked the actor how the heirs are doing now: Dobronravov has two daughters.

– The eldest will go to the seventh grade, the youngest – to the first. Children go in for sports, figure skating, music and are generally very active, the actor told Moskovsky Komsomolets.

– Do you go to competitions?

– I often watch their competitions on my phone, because now there are online broadcasts, all this is available in real time. So during performances and rehearsals, when there are free minutes, I watch with bated breath how my children perform. Now the children are training, but they want to go to the village in Uglich, where we have a house on the river bank.

– Daughters are not offended, they say, dad, why don’t you come to performances?

“They know who I work for, they know who I am from birth.

– Recently your youngest daughter celebrated her birthday, what did you give?

– Children’s electric scooter, which develops not very high speed. I myself have an electric scooter, I get to the Vakhtangov Theater from home in 20 minutes. Today we had a press conference, and I mixed up the halls and came to the wrong place. I really needed to go to Zubovsky Boulevard, and I got there on a scooter in 5 minutes.

– The youngest daughter is 7 years old, have you already chosen a school?

– Yes, it is near the house, the most ordinary school in Maryina Roshcha. And it so happened that her class teacher is the same one that taught my eldest daughter at another school. I am glad that the child will go to school not at the age of six, but at the age of seven, and we gave her another year of childhood.

To the final question, are the girls going to follow in the artistic footsteps, Victor answered categorically in the negative: “No. I don’t want that, of course, but why? The world can offer a person many options for his self-expression. You don’t have to follow the beaten track. If, of course, they themselves want to do this in their lives, let it be their choice, but I will not push.
