Vice Mayor Yefimov announced an increase in the production of auto components in Moscow

The production of components for vehicles in the capital in January-March this year increased by 36.1% compared to the same period in 2022. This became known at the XXVI SPIEF.
“In the capital’s automotive industry, there is a gradual recovery after a difficult year for this sector in 2022. So, already this year, in the first four months, the production of components for motor vehicles has grown by more than a third compared to the beginning of last year,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, in an interview. The vice-mayor specified that more than 20 manufacturers of automobiles and auto components operate in the city. They employ more than 8 thousand people.
According to Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department, a wide range of support measures are available to city enterprises. It includes more than 20 system tools and a number of anti-crisis tools. So, for entrepreneurs in the industry there are tax preferences, preferential investment lending. In addition, part of the enterprises are building sites as part of the implementation of MaIP and, due to this, they receive land plots for rent without bidding.
