Cleaning the streets of Bryansk has become a key task of the meeting in the city administration, the press service of the mayor’s office said.
To successfully resolve the issue, Vice Mayor Sergei Antoshin took the initiative to change ZILs to KAMAZ trucks. In his opinion, this approach will not only improve the efficiency of cleaning, but also reduce the costs of the city treasury.
In particular, the first deputy head proposed to treat the streets with saline instead of a sand-salt mixture in winter. True, the equipment that will be required for these purposes costs 19 million rubles.
“Enough to scatter sand in the winter and collect it back in the spring. Let’s deal with the snow in a civilized way. Today, there are about 15 ZIL vehicles in the road administration, which have been in operation for more than 30 years. Calculations show that three similar ZiLs are successfully replaced by one KAMAZ or MAZ,” Sergey Antoshin argued his position.
He recommended to justify step by step why one new truck is more effective than three old ones. Thus, with the support of the City Council and the regional government, a phased renewal of equipment can begin.
